The Word   "miss a meal if you must ... but never  a good book"

There is an emerging breed of Scottish communicators who have given a newfound power to both the written and spoken word.  Authors, young and old, whose achievements seem almost predestined to bring them the recognition they ultimately deserve.

"Anyone can write ....... right?"     Not true, is the short answer but it is said that if you read quality books ........ then your understanding of the skill of writing will .......  improve significantly.

So if you love to read quality books or are an aspiring author of the future - then this page (which you should visit often) will be your introduction to this new area of our website, established to feature local authors throughout the Scottish regions.

Here's what some of Stephanie's readers thought and said ... about her first book ...........

An accomplished and impeccably penned narrative. Stephanie Taylor is a brilliant tour-guide through difficult and challenging human territory. By the time you have read this novel you will emerge more human than when you went in. And this is the litmus test of all literature.

Christopher Rush - Author

Wow! Stephanie Taylor really knocked my socks off with her novel! She has talent in spades and certainly made me cry.

Deborah J Miller - Author

Taylor's novel tackles difficult subjects which is highly commendable.

The Herald

I read this book in the space of 24 hours...and loved it! Stephanie Taylor skillfully deals with issues often so painful we struggle to discuss them. The story of Lauren and her personal demons made me cry, but as it unfolds it is full of hope and left me with a sweet taste in my mouth.
